THE OFFICE
A project is constantly in motion: construction, renovation, conversion, demolition... It only stops evolving when you stop believing in it. Aware of this fact, Betic adopts an innovative approach, often at the margins of the usual technical solutions.
Preferring the how to the why, the office's objective is to produce a project that is tailored to needs, to unite the project management team and to delight the user.
Above all, Betic is a team that shares a set of values:
- Innovation at the service of the customer: a no-holds-barred approach in which every constraint is seen as an opportunity to innovate,
- uniqueness: each project is unique and must be treated as such.
- Finality: a completed project is one in which the end user has taken full possession of the building, without holding back.
Betic Ingénieurs-Conseils employs over 100 people. The office supports its customers in all areas of technical engineering (HVAC heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, electricity, regulation, etc.) and advanced engineering (sustainable design, acoustics and vibration, fire safety, façade expertise, Commodo-Incommodo, certification, etc.).
Two strategic turning points have marked the life of the company. The first came in 2020, when the firm joined the VK architects+engineers Group, strengthening its expertise in its core business and enabling it to offer its customers complementary skills.
The second will take place in 2023, when the Sweco Group, Europe's largest engineering consultancy, acquires VK architects+engineers. As an integral part of the Sweco Group, Betic Ingénieurs-Conseils will be supported by an international team of experts to complement its local team, enabling it to further consolidate its position in the Luxembourg market by offering its customers an increasingly sophisticated service.
MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
As an engineering consultancy, Betic offers design, monitoring and acceptance services for all technical building installations.
During the design phase, the team carries out thermal and electrical simulations to help the client and other parties make the best possible choices.
During the authorisation phase, it carries out the necessary applications and studies for environmental certification.
During the works, the engineers work alongside the installers, ensuring that the work carried out meets the client's expectations.
Once the work has been completed, the office devotes the time and energy needed to help future users make the most of their new living or working space. It also analyses and optimises the building's key parameters to ensure that the comfort and energy consumption criteria set are constantly being improved.
