          About BFF...

BFF... is first and foremost a team of 60 individuals. We are an international and multicultural collective of architects, interior designers, planners, engineers, technicians, draftsmen and administrative staff. Although this team is led by 6 partners, we believe that a flat hierarchy and a spirit of collaboration are key to the successful operation of our studio. To maintain BFF's design ethos the group of associates regularly review each project at all stages of its development. Experienced professionals or young graduates, it is the spirit of innovation, technicality and professionalism of our talents that characterise our strength and contribute to the success of our projects.

Our vision advocates an interdisciplinary approach that does not hesitate to question established standards, elevating our projects to the level of architectural statements. Collaboration with professionals from different fields, beyond the confines of architecture, allows us to progress and constantly broaden our horizons to meet the demands of an increasingly complex world.

Our expertise is reflected in the diversity of knowledge of our staff. Public and administrative buildings, urban planning and development... are just some of the areas we focus on. With our experience, we work on projects of all scales and scope.

Our architectural approach is to develop projects that are both expressive and functional, with a strong image that users can identify with. Creating quality of life, innovation and original programmatic approaches, BFF's signature lies in a sustainable architecture. Sensitive to the (ecological) footprint left by our projects on the environment and society, we constantly reinforce the skills of our staff in the field of sustainable development and support all socially responsible approaches.

Our projects are sensitive to the environments in which they are located; they both react to and act in the environment in which they are located. We believe that it is our duty to ensure responsible resource management, without limiting ourselves to a purely material definition. Therefore, we always try to design projects that are sustainable in the broadest sense, beyond energy and environmental issues. Our understanding also includes socio-cultural and aesthetic values. Sustainable buildings require a holistic design process and tailor-made solutions taking into account the users and local conditions, so that they can stand the test of time.

Our office has various internal departments that allow us to cover all phases of a project, from planning to finalisation. This organisation responds to the evolution of our profession and allows us to quickly explore a wide range of solutions from different perspectives. This structure is fuelled by a training plan, external experts when needed and research workshops that allow us to stay at the forefront of developments and to organise focus groups to react to market changes, in order to adapt the skills of our team to the needs of a project.

Our expertise is reflected in the diversity of knowledge of our staff. Public and administrative buildings, urban planning and development... are just some of the areas we focus on. As a Luxembourg office in the heart of Europe, we are familiar with the main certifications and have already designed and realised several BREEAM and DGNB certified buildings. As an office with a long history, we follow developments in the Luxembourg market in real time and have actively contributed to shaping the country's skyline for almost three decades.
