About Crèches l'Enfant Roi - Contern

          • Children’s area

L’Enfant Roi nurseries are all established in premises that are not just high quality but also specially built and designed to welcome children aged from 2 months to 4 years. Particular attention has been paid to the location. Indeed, our buildings are located in Strassen, in Capellen, in Bertrange (in the Atrium Business Park Building), in Findel (in Building E of the EBBC), in Kirchberg (President Building, Avenue JFK), in Weimershof and in Cloche d'Or.

L’Enfant Roi nurseries are based around 3 groups:

          • The Nido welcomes babies from 2 to 24 months: it brings together a modern approach and respect for the child, in keeping with our teaching. Beds on the floor and weaning tables encourage autonomy in very young children: we listen to the needs and daily routines of babies placed in our care. A team of dedicated professionals looks after them throughout the day, respecting their habits and needs.
          • The Child Communities enable children between 2 and 3 years to flourish in a suitable living environment. The ambiance, created according to Montessori teaching principles, encourages development and learning for children of this age. The educational team, made up of nursery nurses, and qualified and graduate teachers, works with commitment and enthusiasm.
          • A Children's House, where the teaching programme is in keeping with that of the Maria Montessori nursery school in Strassen, provides children aged 3 to 4 years with the opportunity to extend their knowledge and prepare for entry to pre-school. The children are introduced to geometry, numeracy and writing. We also introduce visual and musical art, geography, zoology and botany. Concepts such as caring for the environment, politeness towards adults and other children, respect and self-esteem are also learnt. The teaching team for this group is made up of nursery nurses and teachers working in French, German and English or Luxembourgish, preparing the child for entry into their future school in a calm and peaceful environment.

          And what about food?

Because eating well is an essential element for harmonious growth, we attach great importance to making sure that the food provided in our nurseries corresponds to medical recommendations. What’s more, all products used in our dishes are healthy, fresh, non-processed and seasonal: free from additives, manufactured products or flavour enhancers in order to guarantee quality meals that are varied and balanced. All dishes are homemade by a professional chef.

Parents have a special place within the nursery. They are invited to meet the teaching team, to educational conferences and, if they so wish, to discussions with the organisations’ psychologist
