The person in charge of the National Asylum, Pascale Sax, her staff and the volunteers do an enormous amount of work in the asylum, showing great dedication and availability. A daily demand is made on them to carry out this constantly expanding "enterprise".
In addition, loyal walkers come to the shelter regularly to help the dogs find their bearings during walks in the countryside and to try to restore their confidence after abandonment.
Our staff and volunteers work 7 days a week in an intensive manner to deal with the increasing number of abandoned and lost animals that come to the National Asylum. Volunteers take it in turns to be present at the Asylum, to receive visitors, to get to know found or abandoned dogs and to walk them.
Our primary goal is to give these animals a decent quality of life and proper care. Our qualified animal carers work with these animals, dogs and cats, on a daily basis to resocialise and even educate them.
The staff and volunteers are a very important part of the adoption process: they carry out preliminary investigations and regular post-adoption checks.
