Occupational Therapy Treatment for Adults at Home (Home Visits)
The measures of occupational therapy in general aim to restore, develop, improve, maintain, or compensate for disease-related impaired motor, sensory, psychological, and cognitive functions and abilities.
The measures use complex activating and action-oriented methods and procedures with adapted exercise materials, functional, craft, and creative techniques, as well as practical/everyday exercises.
They also include advice on school, workplace, housing, and environmental adaptations.
I treat:
- Patients/clients with neurological conditions and limitations, especially after stroke, Parkinson's, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis.
- Patients/clients with intellectual disabilities.
- Patients/clients with orthopedic diseases, particularly from the rheumatic form circle, after prosthesis provision with total shoulder joint, hip joint replacement.
