          About KT Equestrian Sàrl

Always with respect for the horse

KT Equestrian is a company that focuses on training horses and riders in classic dressage as well as working horseback riding.

Training horses is Kelly Trausch’s passion.

'Healthy and varied training according to the classical principles of the old masters is my top priority. Fine aids with minimal impact, the neck being the highest point, with a slight touch.

It is particularly important for me to bring people closer to the horse and, by understanding the nature of the horse, to create a partnership based on trust and respect, whether in the field of leisure or competition. For me, there are no good or bad horses, only good or bad training. Each horse is special and must be picked up where it is.

True to the motto "A human life is not enough to learn to ride a horse", I constantly try to improve and find a solution to every problem without resorting to coercive measures such as pulling the reins, Use force improperly or other unfair methods. Dressage is for the horse and not the horse for dressage. The horse owes nothing to anyone and should not be considered as sports equipment. It is our responsibility to keep horses healthy for a long time, to be powerful in order to balance the rider in all the required movements, to understand their tasks and especially to have fun at work. It is the only way to create harmony between the horse and the rider.

"Have we not forgotten too much over time that dressage - thought to the end - had to be an art?"

          Fritz Stahlecke R.

          ABOUT KELLY:

'Horses were and still are the best teachers for me.

Closely linked to horses since my earliest childhood, I learned at a very young age to see each horse as an individual, to show empathy and to learn its language. During my undergraduate and master’s studies, I had the chance to work with instructors of different riding styles and, above all, to learn from a wide variety of equestrian characters. After my first professional experience in business development and events, I quickly realized that I was on the wrong track.

In 2017, I went into self-employment, I got my competitive sport coach license with the Lütke-awardWesthues and I have since worked in the 'Reitstall beim Sonnebierg' in Hünsdorf and since 2021 I am based at the Equestre Centre les Ecuries which has all the facilities for the welfare of the horse.
