Since 1997, MIG S.àr.l. has been the result of a merger between two Luxembourgish companies, BARBLE S.A. created in 1901 and Ateliers Charles Kremer created in 1936. MIG S.àr.l. is Luxembourg's industry professional in the design, innovative manufacturing and on-site installation of high-capacity aboveground tanks for storage needs. It has a metal workshop specialised in welding, sheet metal cutting, metal forming, the prefabrication of industrial piping and pressure vessels. The company designs and manufactures products in according with international standards (API, ASME, EN, DIN). Its flexibility allows it to meet all your innovation needs in a timely manner, whether in the field of chemicals, gases or foods. The pragmatic approach of our teams enables us to meet your project?' most stringent requirements, and exceed your objectives, from project design to installation and commissioning. Our customers include government agencies, oil and gas producers, several airlines (CARGOLUX, LUXAIR), major international companies established in Luxembourg, water authorities, municipalities and private clients. MIG S.àr.l. is also honoured to be an official sub-contractor (maintenance & construction) for DuPont de Nemours (Luxembourg). The workshop is certified for welding according to the EN ISO 3834-3 standard and owns several welding licences as well as welding processes qualifications. All our services comply with our quality assurance programme that follows the EN 1090 standard requirements. To best meet your needs upstream, MIG S.àr.l. uses a number of 3D and 2D design software as well as finite element computation software. All our creations can be checked (CND and CD) by a Luxembourgish accreditation institute. The production workshop is equipped with powerful machines, including various benders, shears, lathes, press brakes, plasma cutting stations, flame cutters, punching machines, high-technology welding machines, portal cranes and other equipment used in handling. MIG S.àr.l. is proud of its 40 highly qualified employees, which include engineering graduates, designers, welders (including 2 welding experts), pipe fitters and locksmiths in coarse and fine metalwork, to continuously extend its range of products. Current projects: On-site construction of 2 potable water tanks in stainless steel, Ø 8.00 m, 250 m3 each, for the Municipal Administration of Betzdorf. Completion of six valves chambers for the SEBES water authority, destined for the new drinking-water pipe DN700 - PN25 - PN40.
