Op der Schock is committed to supporting the needs of people with intellectual disabilities. The organization is headquartered in Redange-Attert at 34A, route de Reichlange.
Based on the principle of normalization and a holistic view of the human being, we accompany and support each user in the individual development of their personality. Our goal is to offer them a good quality of life and to promote their social and professional inclusion.
Since 1989, we have been offering jobs to people with intellectual disabilities in our sheltered workshops. Over the years, our services have expanded, and today we offer a training structure (C.P.P.) preparing young people for working life, a leisure service, a day activity service, an internal consultation and support service, as well as a residential facility.
Our workshops: gardening, landscaping, floristry, ceramics, candles, gastronomy, cleaning workshop, laundry and ironing workshop.

1970: Founded as a regional section of the HMC League
1985: Became a non-profit organization under the name “Ligue HMC section Redange asbl”
1990: Creation of the cooperative “Op der Schock sc.”
2008: Name changed to “Op der Schock asbl”
2014: Recognized as a public-benefit organization; donations are tax-deductible
