          3 gourmet gifts to make yourself

          For a Christmas present, no need to spend astronomical sums ... The important thing is that it comes from the heart! To please your loved ones, why not give them a gourmet gift? You are given three simple recipes that will satisfy the taste buds of everyone!

          Stars with cinnamon

          Ingredients (for 6 people)

          For the dough :

          230 gr. icing sugar

          250 gr. of almond powder

          2 egg whites

          2 tbsp. cinnamon powder

          1 tbsp. lemon juice

          For icing :

          1 egg white

          70 gr. icing sugar

          Recipe

          In a bowl, combine the icing sugar, the two egg whites, the almond powder, the cinnamon and the lemon juice.

          Mix until smooth, and set aside for one hour.

          Prepare the icing: beat the egg white and icing sugar.

          Cut the dough into a star, using a cookie cutter.

          Align the stars on a plate covered with baking paper.  

          Brush the stars with the frosting.

          Turn on oven th.8 (240 °) and bake for 5 minutes. Make sure that the icing just gilds.

          Peel off the biscuits on leaving the oven. 

           

          Shortbread with vanilla

          Ingredients (for 6 people)

          250 gr. of flour

          160 gr. softened butter

          125 gr. icing sugar

          1 tbsp. coffee baking powder

          1 whole egg + 2 yolks

          2 vanilla pods

          A bit of milk

          Recipe

          Sift flour, icing sugar and baking powder.

          Stir in softened butter, vanilla, egg and a yolk. Mix to obtain a smooth and supple dough.

          Cool for 2 to 3 hours.

          Cut the dough into a varied pattern.

          Brush the biscuits with the remaining egg yolk, diluted in a little milk.

          Turn on oven th.6 (180 °) and bake for 12-15 minutes. The sides of the biscuits should be lightly browned.

          Peel off the biscuits on leaving the oven.

           

          Gingerbread fir trees

          Ingredients (for 6 people)

          50 gr. of butter

          60 gr. sugar

          250 gr. of flour

          1 tbsp. coffee baking powder

          1 egg yolk

          125 gr. honey

          1 tbsp. cinnamon

          1/2 cuil. nutmeg

          1/2 cuil. powdered ginger

          1 pinch of salt

          Recipe

          In a saucepan over low heat, combine butter, sugar, honey and spices. The sugar must be completely melted.

          In a bowl, pour the flour, yeast and salt. Stir in honey mixture and egg yolk.

          Knead the dough until it is smooth. Let stand for 1 hour at room temperature.

          Cut the dough with a cookie cutter.

          Light the oven th.6 (180 °). Place the cookies on a paper plate lined with parchment paper.

          Put in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes. The biscuits should not brown.

          Peel off the biscuits on leaving the oven.
