          How to find a job and write a resume?

          CV creation

          Are you starting a new job search but do not know where to start? Before you head headlong, here are some tips that can help you see more clearly  on the job market  and write a resume to be well referenced on search engines.

          For your job search, start with:

          • Identify all job sites and create alerts on positions that interest you;
          • Play your network (friends, family, former colleagues), they may have heard about a vacancy or talk about companies you do not know;
          • List the shows and events in your geographic area of research and prepare your visits;
          • Consult a third party (advisor in an employment agency, a coach, a former teacher) about the situation or your CV, it will certainly make you enjoy its network;
          • Register on social networks to make yourself visible:
          • Go to groups of social networks where offers are offered;
          • Directly contact the recruiters of companies that make you dream;
          • Consult the media that talk about employment (MooviBlog, newspaper, TV, radio, institutions ...);
          • Get in touch with your school career or work placement service;
          • Get lists of companies from organizations (Chamber of Commerce, Directory ...)

          Once you have an idea of the job market, you can move on to the next stage of applications with an effective resume.

          Here are 6 simple tips to meet today's standards:

          1. A COMPLETE HEAD
          Always indicate your current contact information (name, email, phone), specifying your telephone number so that recruiters can contact you even abroad.
          Trick  : You can specify your professional social network profiles. This will show the recruiter that you are publicly posting your experiences, which is rather a pledge of honesty.

          Give a title to your resume document  eg: Charles Dupont - Java Developer This will allow you to better identify yourself by keywords, but also to be better indexed by search engines.
          Beside your coordinates, we advise you to also put your title which will mention who you are and what you are looking for clearly:
          Who & what  :  Young foreign language graduate looking for an internship in the Tourism sector
          When  :  6 months, available from the beginning of January 2017
          Where :    European mobility

          2. ORDINARY HEADINGS
          We advise you to follow the following form:  Professional Experience> Training> Skills> Additional Information .
          For the order of the headings: if you have little experience, we advise you to put your  Training section first , followed by the Professional Experiences section.
          The more experience you have, the more we encourage you to include your experience before your training. Of course, the experiments are listed in antechronological order: the last experiment first.

          3. SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES
          We propose you below a classic and effective form of CV written in Word. Just create a table with two columns and as many rows as you need. Once your resume is complete, you will only have to make transparent the borders of your table and your text will be well framed. We suggest the following form of writing:

          Function  (position held in bold), Service and Name of the Company, City (or country, if relevant), (in italics the sector of the company, or even the subsidiary of the group)
          • management of ... (with an example of a result for the company or a key figure)
          • writing of ...
          • accounting for ...

          Regarding the length or the number of chips: quality does not necessarily mean quantity. If you have done a lot of different tasks and served many customers, remember the significant experiences and customers.

          4. HELP THE EYE OF THE RECRUITER
          Writing each of your experiences in the same way makes it easy to match your resume at a glance. Recruiters will see more clearly, especially if you put keywords  in bold  and space your games.
          Recruiters consult a lot of CVs a day, they must be able to find in your CV while having in mind a problem of recruitment:  "I am looking for such skills, such experiences and type of diploma, is this the case in this CV, yes or no? » .

          Which font to use?
          • Helvetica: at the top of the rankings
          • Arial: the most neutral
          • Garamont: convenient for those whose work experience is struggling to fill a page
          • Times New Roman: would show that one does not make any effort in its layout of the CV
          • Comic Without MS and Mail: to forbid !

          Above all we do not use more than two colors and we recommend a single font!

          5. CORRESPOND TO THE EXPECTATION OF THE RECRUITER
          Effective CV means a rather standardized CV highlighting your skills to make you understand the interlocutor who reads your resume. So be honest and concise to increase your chances of being restrained!
          To help you put yourself in the shoes of a recruiter and highlight strategic keywords, here are some tips:
          • Consult the offers related to the function you are targeting, especially in the "profile searched" section.
          • Read the interviews of the recruiters in the sector in question, to see the skills and profiles that come back regularly.
