JEAN WAGENER
Jean Wagener is the founder of his law firm named today JEAN WAGENER AVOCAT (formerly WAGENER & ASSOCIES) with a career that spans over 60 years.
He is a Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1963.
He was also President of the Luxembourg Bar (Bâtonnier de l’Ordre des Avocats du Barreau de Luxembourg) from 1995-1996. He initiated with his board the first bar regulation since Napoleon and made it enforceable under his signature as President.
For many years he was President of the Ethics Committee (Conseil de Discipline) of the Luxembourg Bar.
He is sworn in as Legal Consultant in the state of New York since 1973.
Since 1974 he is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Korea.
He is also the founding member of ILG (International Lawyers Group) in 1978, an international network of independent (business) law firms and qualified and experienced lawyers.
